Technical, strategic and policy advisory on local, regional and continental-level urban resilience initiatives through the Sahel Resilience Project, including: (i) with African Union Commission (AUC), developing the continental Africa Urban Resilience Programme (AURP) (ii) with ECOWAS Commission, adapting the AURP to West Africa (iii) with UN-Habitat, national governments developing the Spatial Development Strategy for the Sahel (iv) with local governments, UN-Habitat, developing local urban resilience frameworks for action in Burkina Faso, Chad, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Nigeria and Senegal
Independently analysed and synthesised 300 risk assessment sources for Nepal's Hazard, Vulnerability and Risk Assessment e-library including on urban resilience.
Proposed region specific low-carbon and disaster resilient house-types through effective participatory design discussions with communities across five districts in Odisha, India, as part of Government of India’s Governance and Accelerated Livelihoods Support initiative for Green Strategies.
Led planning and monitoring for new offices for the EU within the British High Commission premises and advised the European External Action Service in Brussels on negotiations for ongoing construction.
Coordinated the ‘Enhancing Urban Disaster Resilience’ project in mountainous Uttarakhand, India for enhancing urban risk management capacity and developing participatory urban building bylaws that mainstream climate and disaster risk.
