About

Fifteen years in B2B SaaS sales, most of them at Purple, a customer experience and analytics platform for physical venues including retail, hospitality, transport, public sector and cultural institutions. I joined Purple as an Enterprise AE in 2016 and spent eight years there, eventually leading EMEA and APAC sales. We grew the region from £2.9M to £5.3M ARR over five years, including through COVID. Notable deals along the way included Whitbread, BT, Merlin Entertainments, Heineken and L'Oreal. Coached and developed several team members into senior roles. Currently Director of Business Development at Thomas International, where I opened the company's Manchester office and am scaling a new business development team responsible for the UK pipeline. Outside of the day job, I've spent the past 6-months building Rythmo (rythmo.ai), an AI-native sales intelligence platform, built end-to-end in code. It's given me a practical understanding of where AI is genuinely changing commercial motions. Mostly interested in complex B2B sales, the kind where deals are won on navigation and judgement rather than volume.
