AI is changing how people search — and most brands aren't ready for it. I lead AI Project & Product at HubSpot's Marketing AI function, where my team builds the tools and systems that sit at the intersection of Generative AI, Agentic AI, and Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO) — the emerging discipline of ensuring brands surface in AI-driven search engines like Perplexity, ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude. Day to day, I oversee a cross-functional team of 8 engineers, QA, and UX/UI, running multiple concurrent AI product streams with stakeholders up to CMO and SVP level. My remit spans product strategy through to delivery — from defining what AEO means for a global MarTech brand, to shipping Agentic AI pipelines, AI-powered micro-services, and Model Context Protocol (MCP) integrations at scale. What I bring that's uncommon: I'm equally comfortable in a product strategy session with a CMO and in a technical architecture discussion with a senior engineer. I've built AI functions, not just AI features — and I know the difference. Recent focus areas: — Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO): building grading tools, gap analysis frameworks, and visibility benchmarks for AI search — Agentic AI: designing and shipping autonomous AI agents integrated across HubSpot's marketing stack — Model Context Protocol (MCP): deploying MCP-native tooling across Canva, Sprout, Asana and more — GenAI & LLM orchestration: working across OpenAI, Anthropic, Perplexity, Gemini and Llama Previously: Senior Digital Project Manager at the Olympic Channel, overseeing the full digital migration and relaunch of Olympics.com across Tokyo 2020 and Beijing Winter 2022. • Complete control of the Digital programme for the Chartered Institute of Taxation (CIOT) & N. Irelands’ Translink to launch their new websites inc. Discovery Phase, stakeholder management, monitoring, budget, risk, architecture, managing multiple teams & issue resolution. • Planning CIOT & Translinks 2020 product roadmaps, milestones & invoicing. • Project Management to cost, time and quality using AGILE & as a SCRUM MASTER inc. control of Microsoft Azure, Kanban board, Automated Testing, Stories, Backlog Grooming & more.
