About

Natalya Meyer is a Washington, D.C.–based business and nonprofit development adviser with a legal background and deep experience building cross‑border investment and innovation partnerships between the United States and Europe, including Ukraine. Originally from Ukraine, she has worked with institutional investors, Big 4 professional‑services firms, and international law firms, helping companies navigate complex regulatory environments, structure cross‑border transactions, and design sustainable growth strategies. Natalya is the founder of Confidante, where she helps entrepreneurs and small businesses start, operate, and expand by combining strategic legal insight with practical, market‑driven advisory support. She focuses on building durable “investment bridges” among the U.S. and Ukraine, with a particular emphasis on women‑led ventures, technology startups, defense and impact‑oriented projects that create jobs and advance economic resilience. In addition to her private‑sector work, Natalya serves as a mentor and speaker for accelerator and government‑backed entrepreneurship initiatives, including women‑in‑tech and international founder programs, where she advises on product‑market fit, U.S. market entry, and investor readiness. Empowering women to start, operate, and grow businesses. WE NYC (Women Entrepreneurs NYC) is an initiative based out of the New York City Department of Small Business Services that is dedicated to helping women start and grow their businesses. When the WE NYC initiative was established, it was the first of its kind in a major American city to empower women to pursue entrepreneurship in a range of sectors, including retail trade, personal care services, and construction. WE NYC developed tailored programs and tools with women entrepreneurs through user testing and feedback to create an initiative that connects women entrepreneurs with the resources, education and community they need to thrive. Free services are available for Women Entrepreneurs across the five boroughs and in multiple languages.
