Hey there! I'm Pol, an Electronics Engineering graduate with a passion for cutting-edge technology, from power systems and batteries to high-precision mechatronics. With a Bachelor's in Electronics Engineering and a Master's in Systems and Control, I’ve built a solid foundation in modeling, data-driven control algorithms, and system optimization. My career spans multiple high-tech industries, giving me a broad and versatile skill set. I started in the offshore industry, working on motion-compensated gangways, where I tackled complex control challenges in dynamic environments. This role honed my expertise in real-time systems and automation, ensuring precise motion control under harsh conditions. Currently, I work as a System Industrialization Engineer at ASML, focusing on beam measurement and control within EUV lithography. Here, I bridge the gap between design, manufacturing, and field operations, ensuring that advanced mechatronic modules are industrialized efficiently for high-tech semiconductor production. Outside of work, I’m always exploring new advancements in semiconductor technology, power systems, and industrial automation. I also enjoy hiking, art, and taking on new challenges that push my technical and analytical skills. Let’s connect and discuss anything from mechatronics and control systems to industrialization and high-tech manufacturing!
- Perform work required for the operation, maintenance, and testing of control systems - Modify and improve existing PLC software packages to fit unique customer needs and configurations - Commissioning of newly built control systems - Troubleshoot and deploy system upgrades on our Ampelmann systems worldwide, both on- and offshore - Support Maintenance Engineers and Technicians on a day-to-day basis
The Technical Planner position is part of the Operations Control Centre (OCC) team responsible for ensuring safe and efficient global operations. As a Technical Planner, we provide support to maintain the Ampelmann systems and prioritize incoming maintenance tasks. We will prepare work orders and provide technical instructions to Operators, acting as the first point of contact during the execution of work orders. Key responsibilities: - Support global operations by maintaining the Ampelmann systems - Process, assess and prioritize incoming maintenance tasks and abnormalities - Prepare work orders and provide technical instructions to Operators - Act as the first point of contact for Operators during the execution of work orders
The goal of the project is to design a Battery Management System for a 12s 3p Li-Ion battery that will be designed to be implemented in the next ROVER that our team will manufacture. The BMS must meet the next requirements: - Ensure that the battery works in the Safe Operation Area, monitoring each of the cell's voltage, the charge and discharge current and the temperature of the battery - Design a passive balancing process to ensure that all the cells are with the same level of voltage - Make accurate approximations of the State of Charge of the battery - Establish communications with the main computer of the robot
As a Hardware Engineer I have been developing projects related to all the electronics required to make the Rover robot functional, but my principal role has been designing and testing the supply system needed. My tasks in the team were: - Design all the PCBs needed to satisfy the initial requirements of the ROVER, sensors, supply systems, lights etc. (EAGLE , FUSION 360) - Manufacture the designs and test them to check if they were functional and if not, repair them - Teach and guide the new team members to ensure the generational relief
