I'm an Emmy Award–winning creative producer and video editor with 10+ years building campaigns that actually get made — on time, on brand, and across every platform. At WBTV, I led post-production and built the cross-department workflow in ClickUp that finally gave sales, marketing, and production a shared language. I work fully remote and bring the same attention to craft whether I'm filming a Super Bowl spot or managing a campaign from brief to delivery. Currently open to remote video editing and creative project management roles worldwide. Website pmbennett.myportfolio.com (Portfolio) Email [email protected]
Every project tells a story — and my job was making sure ours were told well, delivered on time, and built to last across every platform they touched. At WBTV, I oversaw post-production end-to-end: color correction, audio mixing, encoding, and cross-platform delivery using Adobe Premiere Pro and the full Creative Cloud suite. But the work I'm most proud of happened before the edit — I designed a cross-department workflow in ClickUp from the ground up that finally gave sales, marketing, and production a shared language. What had been a tangle of missed handoffs became a system people actually trusted. The creative highlight: directing the cinematography of an Emmy Award–winning campaign that aired during the Super Bowl, in front of a local market of 1.19 million viewers. That project is a good example of what I love most — high-stakes storytelling with a hard deadline and a lot riding on every frame.
This is where I found my rhythm as a producer — managing the full arc of a project from the first brief to the final file, while still getting to live in the edit bay and make things look great. I produced and edited commercials, branded videos, and long-form storytelling pieces for broadcast and digital platforms, building motion graphics and transitions in After Effects to sharpen the visual language of every campaign. I also contributed as one of the producers on the Novant Health Thanksgiving Parade, a large-scale live production that required tight real-time coordination across multiple teams. What I came to understand in this role is that the best creative work happens when the process is as well-crafted as the content itself.
Commercial and promotional work lives or dies by clarity and speed — and this role sharpened both. I edited content for broadcast and digital, designed motion graphics and animation for branding campaigns, and worked directly with clients and internal teams through every revision to keep the story intact and the schedule on track.
Live news is where I learned what it actually means to work under pressure. Producing and editing video and graphics for daily broadcasts with no margin for error built instincts I still rely on — fast decisions, technical consistency, and knowing how to keep quality high when the clock is not on your side. I also trained new team members on editing tools and workflows, which taught me early that good process is something you can teach.
