• Led a team of 11 members comprised of product owner, product manager, UX designer, engineers, and architects to integrate third party risk scores into our platform. Built Alembic projects to manage schema changes. Wrote prefect flows to update data from third-party vendors and map to our entities. Wrote customer facing APIs to handle all interactions with our database, AWS Secrets Manger, and third-party APIs. Ensured timely delivery of all components into production. • Designed and architected a recommendation engine to display alternate suppliers for Interos customers. Also implemented filtering logic and text similarity scoring. • Designed, implemented, and deployed the entity resolution service that linked external entities to entities in our database with 95% link rate and 98% accuracy in the labelled dataset, owing a significant portion of the company’s core process.
• Contributed to a wide range of services, cross-functional projects, and process developments, as the company grew to become a unicorn. • Led a team of 7 engineers and analysts to build a software that maps entities in data lake with Interos entities on a scheduled routine based on configurable files that is self-serving for Data Enablement team members • Built an application to recursively crawl nested directories in a shared google drive, identify new files added by outsourcing firms, pull data, run auto corrections, flag data issues, update Jira, and finally load the annotated data to snowflake. • Contributed to automate customer request and prioritization flow with scheduled Fivetran jobs. • Support schema migrations for the company’s next generation application on Alembic. • Wrote a prefect flow that reads messages from snowflake tables and publish to respective kafka topics. • Wrote SQL scripts to "grade" the status of relationship maps from structured sources with the goal of skipping manual process for maps that qualify given set of criteria. • Built projection service to keep databases in sync.
• Automated data quality checks to identify common data quality issues and alert analysts using pandas and Jira api. This boosted our velocity for manual QA by multiple factors, ultimately contributing to 1400% increase in the velocity in the number of relationship maps per week • Built a program to deduplicate customer requests based on number of attributes. The program correctly identified about 20% of the requests as duplicates. The program, therefore, reduced the workload for more than 20 analysts and hundreds of outsourced employees by 20%. • Built an application that automated manual data processing by converting raw data from excel sheets into human readable interpretation of the numeric value. • Wrote a prefect flow to extract, transform and load software relationships for new entities from third-party vendor APIs.
• Received the Entrepreneurial Fellowship grant to start a business venture that trains and connects unemployed workers in Nepal to work opportunities.
• Explored topics in Abstract Algebra, with the focus on Critical Groups of a graph. • Revised and edited Dr. Glass’s draft of a chapter of his book in Critical Groups. • Conducted numerical exploration and analysis in Python.
