About

What we can’t do alone, we can achieve together. Senior Associate in Corporate and Institutional Banking, operating in the execution layer of the funds team and responsible for the end-to-end delivery of derivative trading capability for superannuation funds and institutional asset-management clients. My role requires broad, practical expertise across the factors that determine whether a client can trade safely and effectively. This includes regulatory considerations such as CPS 226 liquidity and risk expectations, institutional KYC, fund and trust structures, counterparty credit assessment, and the approval and ongoing maintenance of derivative credit limits. A core part of my work is credit writing and approvals. I draft and progress credit papers and credit limit requests through the bank’s approval process, ensuring submissions are clear, defensible and aligned with the bank’s risk appetite. To support this, I work closely with Markets, Risk, Legal, Operations and Compliance to confirm proposals are operationally workable, with appropriate documentation, system set-up and a clear path to day-one tradable outcomes. Direct client engagement is central to how I execute. I speak with clients regularly to clarify requirements, resolve issues and maintain momentum, and I place strong value on proactive, practical communication to minimise friction, delays and rework. Alongside transaction execution, I contribute to the bank’s broader understanding of the superannuation sector. I am the author of the bank’s annual superannuation thematic review, which I have produced for four consecutive years, providing structured analysis of industry trends, risk themes and emerging issues to support internal decision-making. I am also a recognised AI champion within Corporate and Institutional Banking. I have led the controlled rollout of Copilot and LLM tools by developing structured training materials and delivering practical demonstrations and training sessions to more than 300 colleagues, with a focus on improving quality, consistency and efficiency while maintaining strong governance and control standards.
