I am a finance executive with broad experience in multinational companies, in corporate finance, accounting, and management across Portugal and Spain. I have spent my career working closely with CEOs and leadership teams, helping organizations improve financial performance, strengthen decision‑making, and navigate both growth and difficult periods. I became a Finance Director with a seat on the Board at an early stage in my career, which gave me early exposure to responsibility, complexity, and the consequences of financial and strategic decisions. Over time, I have developed a practical, results‑oriented approach to finance, focused on profitability, cash flow discipline, and operational efficiency. My professional experience comes from multinational companies across different business models and sectors, including production, retail, wholesale, construction, and energy. Working in organizations that differ significantly in size, level of regulation, and operational complexity has required a strong capacity to adapt to new contexts, business realities, and ways of working. I have been involved in negotiating credit facilities, supporting M&A processes, contributing to share purchase agreements, and leading turnaround situations, including cases where decisive action was required to maintain operations in Portugal. I am particularly interested in how finance can support strategy in uncertain environments. This includes budgeting and forecasting under volatility, developing business plans, improving management information, and modernising finance functions through better processes, systems, and digital tools. I have led ERP implementations and worked with IFRS, US GAAP, and SOX environments. I hold a degree in Business Administration and an MBA, complemented by executive education in strategy, innovation, leadership, corporate finance, and digital strategy from institutions such as Harvard Business School Online and IE Business School. This background has prepared me to provide quality input and advice at board level, particularly where financial discipline, strategy, and long‑term value creation are central to the discussion.
