I am an experienced, analytical leader, having built and scaled teams across multiple functional areas. I also have a consulting background and heavy international experience. I'm currently the VP of Operations at a private company. I received my MBA from MIT's Sloan School of Management and my undergraduate degree from Georgetown University's Walsh School of Foreign Service.
Report into the COO, manage a team across the US/Americas, EU/EMEA/Germany, and APAC/China. Responsible for building a customer oriented logistics and warehousing network with internal and external/3PL resources.
First permanent department head, designed and built the team from scratch and responsible for largest cost line item. Role was a mix of routing optimization, pricing, and gig worker marketplace management with heavy collaboration with product and data science (we would build, price, and selling routes at industry leading service levels and economics).
Managed ~15 person team managing merchandising for categories totaling nearly $2B+ in revenue. This includes owning the full value chain of online merchandising from conducting deep customer and product research to structuring the back end data, as well as partnering with product managers to launch new features on site.
Managed several teams to support our in-house, last mile delivery network for large parcel items (e.g. couches, tables). Workstreams led include customer experience analytics, last mile routing, carrier procurement and management, training, and a specialized customer service team
