TP Emitel DVB-T Project in Poland; National wide digital terrestrial television in Poland: June 2010 - December 2010 realization a multiplexing system and distribution system for nationwide and regional news for the 3rd multiplex (MUX-3) and DVB-T transmission and Contribution system for the audio and video signals in Poland for TP Emitel, end client, National Polish Television (TVP). Phase 1 based on governmental requirements, Office of Electronic Communications (UKE) was launched 27th October 2010, Phase 2 was launched 31th December 2010. Phase 3 and next phases has been launched in 2011-2014. Ericsson designed and delivered infrastructure for digital terrestrial television (DVB-T) in Poland. TP Emitel is a network operator and broadcast partner of National Polish Television (TVP). Technology deployed by Ericsson was a millstone in history of television in Poland. Special part of delivered solution was dedicated to TVP, to satisfy the need of exchanging audio and video materials between main and regional TVP studios over whole area of Poland.
