Currently I'm working for Polish and Slovak markets. My main responsibilities on this position are: - Ensuring Month End Closing timeliness - Preparing and posting payroll journals - Preparing and posting employee bonus journals - Preparing and posting various journals - Analyzing price variances on purchased materials - Reconciling various accounts during Balance Sheet Review Process
Taking active part in setting up new SSC in Lodz Participation in transition process from Whirlpool India Ensuring compliance with accounting principles of markets Responisible for migration of Intercompany Process - performing all IC activities including: netting process, balance sheet reconciliation, month-end reporting, providing information and any accounting analysis to RTR/Market Lead/Accountant as required. Active cooperation with externl and internal auditors. Taking part in migration to new SAP kernel. Establishing new way of working for Intercompany Process after migration to new SAP kernel.
Key responsibilities: - Preparing journal entries and calculations - Performing monthly/quarterly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts - Performing month-end closing activities including: revaluation, intercompany AP/AR/P&L reconciliation, processing manual journal entries including accruals, bank reconciliation, validation solving, preparation and upload of data to consolidation system - Handling of ad-hoc requests from client - Handling of entire asset module (asset master data creation/changes, running monthly and yearly asset related transactions, error solving) - Preparation of documentation package for external and internal audit I took part in three successful knowledge transfers from Lodz SSC (Poland) to Pune SSC (India) and also one successful knowledge transfer from Israeli client to Lodz SSC. I was Year End Closing Coordinator for Pune SSC.
