The Human Resources Generalist performs the day-to-day functions of the Human Resources (HR) department including talent acquisition, administering benefits and leave, performance management, collaborating on payroll, and managing and enforcing company policies and practices.
• Leads innovation through change management, recruitment, employee engagement, payroll, benefits and compensation, and employee relations across two neighboring states of over 200 employees. • Engages in regular meetings with Executives and Senior Leadership to advise on current company HR policies, and meeting company strategic goals. • Manages the HRIS system by conducting regular internal audits, executing payroll, and managing total rewards including benefits. • Develops and distributes the bi-annual employee engagement survey. • Provides ongoing coaching to store-level leadership to ensure proper HR best practices are being implemented. • Maintains an ongoing relationship with company systems/vendor partners including accountants, benefit brokers, and external HR services.
This role is tasked with developing a strategy for enrolling youth in the Career Launch Bio-Manufacturing program, emphasizing how this can aid the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Title I-B eligible individuals.
