Within the Corporate IT Architecture & Project management department I am responsible for designing the business and IT architecture ensuring alignment with SD Worx’ strategy and objectives. Develop & Implement IT Strategy: I design and develop an overall technology roadmap that supports business goals, ensures scalability, and aligns with industry best practices. I help SD Worx management make informed decisions by providing detailed trade-off analysis and "what-if" scenarios. Target Architecture: I develop target architectures for different domains and projects, manage dependencies, and ensure that architectural changes are captured and processed at the right time. Develop & Maintain Business Capability Map: In close collaboration with business stakeholders, I define, document, and maintain the business capability map of SD Worx. Collaboration with Business Leaders: I work closely with stakeholders across various business units to understand their needs and translate them into technology solutions. Governance & Standards: I follow and continuously improve architectural principles, standards, and guidelines to ensure consistency within the architecture domain. Architectural Design: I create and maintain the high-level design of the enterprise’s IT architecture. I create and maintain project architecture designs for mid-to-large projects. Solution Evaluation & Selection: I evaluate new technologies, tools, and systems for potential adoption, balancing technical feasibility, business alignment, cost-effectiveness, and other benefits. Risk Management: I identify potential risks associated with the enterprise architecture and propose mitigation strategies. Architecture Governance: I participate in architecture governance, ensuring that any changes in existing requirements are captured, assessed, and cascaded to target architectures. I also help ensure that projects deliver the expected value aligned with the company's strategy.

I'm part of the renewed architectural team of the technology & operations unit of VRT. We look into all new & existing technical, productional & business opportunities for fulfulling our public mission of making the best content for the Flemish market. Are we doing the right things and are we doing things right ? That's our mission statement. By analysing what needs and opportunities exist amongst creatives, content creators, producers, technicians & all other business partners and translating those into future business cases, investments & projects. We also analyse existing and legacy business cases & status. We try to keep the top level overview and identify synergies & possible convergence throughout the whole company. We are the first step in defining the future path of this cutting edge content creating public broadcaster.
The 'Media & Culture Fast Forward' campaign & festival was a unique initiative built by VRT in collaboration with the Department of Culture, Youth and Media about the future of media and culture. It emanated from Media Fast Forward, an annual inspiration and networking festival that brings together professionals, entrepreneurs, creatives, researchers and policy makers of the media industry to think about digital challenges. My role as co-curator was to help develop the strategic storyline, find the right connections & stories, connect with the right stakeholders, manage the businessproject, define it's digital communication strategy and help produce the stories as we went. Due to the COVID pandemic, we needed to rethink this project 4 times, but still we made it to the finishline with usefull sessions in every fiber of the innovation in our media storytelling world.

Project management & architect of the new AVID PAM system 2014, upgrading from a Grass Valley Aurora Stratus digital newsroom system. Co-architect of all MEDIALAAN media workflows & integrations with PAM & MAM. Furthermore i provide solutions to handle a wide variety of Broadcast & Application issues. I am newsroom & sports production specialist, workflow designer and solution architect for all future vision & projects. I am a digital creative native, innovating with newest digital & academic approaches to sound, tv & film production with 10y experience.
