Key Responsibilities: • Finding solutions to improve production efficiency by research about tooling, methodologies and processes • Evaluating and suggesting recommendations on the manufacturing quality control processes, types of manufacturing methods to be adopted, list of processes to be followed, tooling and fixturing. • Analyzing the feasibility of new product designs and production processes (FMEA) • Testing manufacturing methods and equipment, conferring with equipment vendors • Providing sales-offers by calculating production, labor, and material costs. • Maintaining strong relationships with clients and suppliers. • Preparing sheetmetal parts and assemblies for production using CAD-CAM and ERP software. • Making technical drawings and part-lists.
