Pieter Lens is Vice President and Treasurer, responsible for driving the global treasury strategy, including capital markets, cash management, bank relationships, insurance, hedging and asset management. In addition to his Treasury functions, Pieter is also responsible for Credit and Order-to-Cash performance and leads the development of JC Capital which fuels the growth of the Company’s subscription and customer financing offerings. Pieter has been with Johnson Controls since 2005, having spent four years in Brussels and three years in Hong Kong. In his time with the Company, Pieter has held roles of increasing responsibility within the Finance function, including Treasury, Financial Risk Analysis and Finance Transformation. Pieter holds a Juris Doctor from the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (Belgium) and Universidad Pontificia Comillas de Madrid (Spain), as well as a Masters in Finance from the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management (Belgium).
