I have been supporting customers, distributors and partners from all over the globe with both software and hardware sales. Currently I work with software and services sales at the forefront of a digital revolution that is taking place right now within the consumer products market. I am a strong relationship builder and feel at home at trade shows and seminars. I am very experienced with holding presentations, seminars, events and talking for a large audience. I am passionate about value for the customer and I am very skilled at translating sometimes complex technologies into a clear and easy to understand message. I try to know as much as possible about the products/services/software I sell by understanding the technical aspects and translate them in clear and obvious benefits for the end-user and distributors. Specialties: Presenting & Talking in public in 4 languages Experienced with traveling, negotiating large projects, business developments, creating and/or finding opportunities, seminars, roadshows, exhibitions, etc... • Zenitel (Oslo, Oslo, Norway)
    • Commercial Product Manager
      Jan 2015 - Aug 2018 · 3 yrs 8 mos

I moved from Sales to Commercial Product Management. I am now a part of the marketing team and it is my responsibility to become the knowledge center of the building security market for the Global Zenitel Team. Together with the segment leader we work out sales strategies and tools for the global sales force and our dealer network. We study the market to prepare our products and solutions to meet future demands. We listen closely to our dealers, end-users, integrators, consultants and colleagues to map all the local challenges and to identify a global trend in market changes.

    • International Sales Manager
      Sep 2008 - Dec 2014 · 6 yrs 4 mos

I started as sales manager for the ME in 2008. The first challenge was to get our dealers more organized and better up to date on the latest products and developments. Our dealers are now more actively involved with Zenitel and our business in the ME is thus increasing. Over the years I added Belgium, Switzerland, Austria, South Africa and Portugal to my list of responsibilities. I believe that my (sometimes) direct approach combined with transparency allows me and my customers to operate very efficiently. We set common goals and work as partners. Mutual trust is an absolute must and we respect each others' interest in the business at hand. In my opinion, this leads to a solid cooperation that lasts.

  • Assistant to the Roaming Manager at Proximus
    Aug 2002 - Aug 2003 · 1 yr 1 mo

I had the pleasure of working at Proximus as a Student during the month of August in 2002 and 2003. Because I was rather proficient at English I was chosen to assist the Roaming Manager (Conny Vervaeck) with following up on roaming agreements with all the Roaming Partners Belgium's largest mobile phone operator worked with. I would call to countries all over the world and provide them with SIM cards for testing, or following up on open invoices. At a young age I learned that English indeed is the business language but I also learned that it is spoken with many different accents, something I got used to quickly. All communication was in English and the Roaming Manager was an excellent coach. She helped me with improving my business English and I learned a lot during these two months.
