Order/Requirements Processing: - Planning and Optimization: Plan, monitor, and optimize forecasted commercial and non-commercial shipments according to open customer orders with Middle East Market. - Order Fulfillment: Handle customer orders in terms of quantity, quality, and costs within the requested timeframes, adhering to national and international procedures, laws, and regulations for both commercial and non-commercial deliveries and process in SAP. Invoicing/Shipping: - Shipment Coordination: Coordinate the shipment of products to subcontractors or other GSK sites in collaboration with relevant services. - Shipping Documentation: Manage returns, letters of credit, and other shipping documents. Provide consignees and customs brokers with shipping information and documents, following up until delivery is completed. Performance and Administrative Management: - Process Improvement: Propose logistics and planning tactics to reduce costs and enhance service levels. - Audit Support: Support internal and external audits for the department and the regional distribution center (RDC) related to vaccine distribution activities. Planning Specialist: - Deputy Role: Serve as the deputy for the Distribution Planning Manager. - Freight Cost Monitoring: Be accountable for monitoring additional freight costs. - Performance Analysis: Ensure the use of appropriate reporting tools to monitor performance and conduct data analysis. Interactions and Communication: - Stakeholder Management: Support and manage direct relationships with VDCC, QA, Finance, Customer Service, LOCs, and RDC's. - Project Support: Support other Vaccine Distribution and Cold Chain functions for projects and business requirements. - Order to Delivery project.
