With more than 24 years of service Mr Dufresne is a highly qualified, devoted and experienced Police Officer. In addition I have participated in many overseas missions throughout the years after retirement. These unique experience have accrued a totally different dimension in my knowledge as an officer. I have acquired extensive and experience in human rights domain and international human rights standards I have excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate internally and to relate with multi-national as well as international partners. Experience in crisis management Missions, preferably connected to Africa or other areas within the same geopolitical context. I also have international experience, particularly in a crisis zone, in the field of gender, human rights sexual violence issues. Ability to coordinate and lead a working group and abilities to work with other entities on the same group and being multilingual, the ability to interact and relate to other entities in their own native tongue.

As an Internal Investigator Section, Monitored all case files involving violations of the Code of Conduct as mandated by the Standard Operating Procedures of the United Missions in Haiti. Transferred as the Executive Officer of the Deputy Police Commissioner of Operations and Monitoring, I help coordinate the activities of the HQ sections under Pillar 1; Help prepare plans , orders, briefings and reports on MINUSTAH Police matters as required. Represented the MINUSTHA Police on Boards of Inquiry when necessary and as directed by the Deputy Commissioner of Operations and Monitoring. Scrutinize and evaluate the incoming and outgoing reports and messages for all Sections under Pillar one.
