1 - Identified an opportunity to acquire assets of a listed company with the objective of setting up a primary LBO. Selection and negotiation with 5 private equity firms, preparation and submission of the letters of interest to the vendor. 2 - Independent consultant of a Paris based fashion designer. Lead the negotiation with a PE firm for a minority investment of USD 5.5M including the investment agreement, the brand and the shareholders’ agreement. In parallel acted as an in house finance director : review and improvement of processes (finance, logistic, sales), cleaning of the accounts, recruitment of an in house chief accountant.
Finance & Operations Director EMEA – Bushnell Outdoor Products (€90M revenue, 180 employees) 2009 – 2014 • Oversaw Finance, HR, IT and Operations across 6 European subsidiaries; co-led the EMEA region reporting to the Managing Director and Group CFO • Drove strong regional growth, doubling revenue over the period and delivering c.€1M EBITDA improvement within 12 months • Led full ERP rollout (Microsoft Dynamics AX) across all entities and functions • Managed governance and employee relations, including creation and chairing of the works council • Led M&A-related projects across EMEA, including integration and carve-out activities following acquisition by ATK and subsequent spin-off (Vista Outdoor) • Handled sensitive executive matters, including identification and resolution of major misconduct cases
Joined a team of two corporate controllers that provide support to the three business divisions automotive, professional and consumer. Apply control over all finances (area income €2bn, 8.000 staff). Leading specific finance projects required by the head office in Washington DC.
Joined the London office to provide consultancy services to multinationals in relation with Sarbanes Oxley legislation, internal controls, credit management and assistance to finance departments on internal projects. Extensive travelling to more than 10 European countries.
