Komatsu is a Japanese company, active in the construction and mining sector, selling from utility to heavy duty machines, Komatsu as reached a high level of quality and service over the years to become one of the worldwide strongest company in the world.
Develop aftermarket business to achieve sales, profit and market share targets for the assigned territories (France, BeNeLux, Greece, Norway, Sweden). Introduce and implement marketing campaigns and programs to penetrate defined markets and increase total brand awareness. Use PDCA to coordinate, steer, follow up established plans. Report any activities or situation that have an impact (positive or negative) on the business. Visit regularly the customers to understand their needs and to find fitting solutions. Internal negotiation to establish new process / improve operational flow. Provide daily support to assigned Distributors related to parts and/or company processes. Provide training to Distributors.
Purchase Engineer for spare parts at Komatsu Europe International N.V. Responsible to apply the purchasing strategy, optimize pool of existing suppliers and perform price and contract negotiations with suppliers. Monitoring and evaluating the supplier and improving their delivery performance and main KPI’s. Work in close relationship with all the departments in the company to set the strategy in the easiest and smoothest way possible. I am also dealing with the different Komatsu entities worldwide to be sure we all move in the same direction. Improving the supply chain and get the highest quality parts at lowest cost possible and within the agreed delivery time.
