During my time with Chrysler I worked on all electrical/electronic vehicle systems - wiring, instrumentation, powertrain, chassis, audio,switches and information displays - either as a design/development engineer or in a management capacity. Also as a career development move within Chrysler LLC I was a a senior manager responsible for integration of mechanical clutch systems, engine mounts, and manual transmissions.
Director for the National Chrysler Retirement Organization. Responsibilities include membership, retiree friendly dealer program as well supporting organization's efforts to maintain retiree benefits.
I am working in the Technical Cost Reduction Department as a consultant to 5 TCR engineers. I am working on technical cost reduction solutions for all electrical/electronic vehicle components. This lasted approximately five years. Afterwards I was asked if I could work on redesigning several occupant restraint electronic modules for late model FCA vehicles. At the end of October I decided to retire after successfully completing numerous projects. If the right project comes along I would consider the possibility of going back to work.
Recently took a special early retirement offer. As senior manager for Active Chassis Controls I was responsible for the electrical integration of the following systems into all Chrysler LLC vehicles : Electronic brake control systems, Tire pressure monitoring systems, AWD/T-case/Front axle disconnect electronics, Air suspension electronics and Integrated trailer brake controller module. I had 22 people in my department.
Senior manager responsible for the mechanical and funtional integration of electronic brake systems on all Chrysler vehicles.
Career development move out of Electrical. Responsible for integration into Neon, PT Cruiser, Stratus, Sebring and Mini-vans: manual clutch systems, automatic and manual shift mechanisms, manual transmissions and engine mounts.
Responsible for desiging and developing electronics for farm equipment applications i.e. combines, skid steer loaders, harvesters, and balers.
