Amsterdam, North Holland, Netherlands
As a member of the Historical Committee, I advise the Zaanse Schans Foundation in preserving and improving a historically correct appearance of about 1850. The Zaanse Schans is a composite assembly of windmills and domestic and warehouses traditional of the Zaan region in the North-Holland area, one of the oldest industrial area's of Europe. The Zaanse Schans was founded in 1961. The windmills and houses were rebuilt between 1961 and 1976.

Jr. preserved in the Municipal Archives of Zaanstad and the Zaan Museum. Co-author: George Slieker; Corrector: Wietske van Soest; Photographs: Anjo Kan; Graphic Design: Chantal Vansuyt; Print: Heijnis & Schipper Drukkerij.
