Purchased The Anchor Shipping building on arrival in Nelson and leased part as artists studios. Set up cafe to lease, but wound up running it myself for two enjoyable but very expensive years. Building has since been purchased by Nelson City Council.
Completed construction of 13m Ganley Pacemaker in Auckland and spent three years sailing the Northland, the South Pacific and NSW Coast before settling in Nelson.
