With training and self study gained lot of knowledge of Cisco router/switches and wireless. Mainly on Cisco 9k switches nexus switches and wireless (9800 series). Also gained knowledge on Aruba wireless. Also gained knowledge about Cisco ISE, Cisco Prime and Cisco DNA.
- Part of the european networkteam which is responsible for the LAN/WAN/wifi at all locations in EMEA. Network exist of Cisco switches and routers and Aruba wireless access points. Also some offices still have Juniper and HP switches which will be replaced by Cisco. - Design/configuration of the network infrastructure of the newly build warehouse which is now operational. - Run several projects to replace the network at several small and bigger arrow offices in EMEA. - Run the project of migrating the network at the main datacenter in europe from extreme switches to Cisco. - Run projects of integration of new companies into the Arrow standard setup. - Project lead for the setup of a new datacenter based on Nexus switches
- Responsible for the daily support on the WW LAN including Cisco Switches, Cisco Routers, Cisco ACE loadbalancers, Cisco FWSM firewall. - Responsible for the WW DNS/DHCP environment based on Nominum Software. - Infra projects : Cisco 6509 replacement Asia/USA with new 6509 based on VSS technology and several LAN installation/replacement on remote sites. - Give support to other teams with Windows/Unix/Linux servers and workstations. - Give support to the business on the ASML machine/non ASML machines with regards to network connectivity - Support to the IPT rollout WW
- During this period responsible for the support of the unix workstations for D&E. - Millennium project and customers specific unix server installations - System controller on the unix environment
Responsible for the IBM mainframe. Solving first/second/third line support. Also responsible for all connections between the remote offices and the IBM mainframe
