Phyllis is currently the Global Director- Legal, Compliance and Secretarial of Plaza Premium Group with HQ based in Hong Kong, leading and managing the global legal portfolio by aligning legal and regulatory frameworks with business objectives while overseeing corporate, commercial, litigation, intellectual property, compliance matters across multiple jurisdictions. Prior to this, she served as Chief Strategy Officer & General Counsel of OCR Group Berhad, a public company listed on the Bursa Malaysia Main Market, specialising in property development and construction where she spearheaded corporate and legal strategy and strategic transactions, and the Group’s legal and compliance functions.She is also the certified adjudicator of Asian International Arbitration Centre and the accredited trainer by HRD Corp. Phyllis practiced as a M&A and commercial lawyer in Top 10 legal firm in Malaysia prior to going in-house.
