Twenty years in client service and project delivery has taught me two things: projects need structure and people need trust. I pride myself in delivering both. My career began in agency account management at The Hardy Boys, a high-pressure marketing and PR agency, where I was the single point of contact for a blue-chip portfolio such as Vodacom (lead account), Standard Bank, SAB, Unilever, MultiChoice and Brandhouse. From there I managed team schedules, planning and match-day marketing for the 2010 FIFA World Cup Local Organising Committee in Durban, delivering digital, SMS and print campaigns at a time when social media marketing was brand new. Today I run two demanding tracks in parallel. At eThekwini Municipality I project-manage a portfolio for the Executive Director's office across business continuity, risk, compliance and national-scale conferences (SA AIDS and SA TB), including their digital campaigns. Through my consultancy I manage a multi-client marketing portfolio: social media for the Department of Sport, Arts & Culture's KZN Sport Awards, PR and marketing for the Dundee July, activations for the Zulu Kingdom Experience, and live-streamed red carpet productions. What I bring: disciplined account administration (daily in ClickUp, Monday.com and Asana), warm and clear communication, calm conflict resolution, and complete reliability working remotely and autonomously with availability for US and UK time-zone overlap. Currently certifying in paid social and paid media (Meta Blueprint, Google Ads) to formalise hands-on capability on an established foundation of campaign strategy, analytics and reporting.
