Senior Systems Engineer (SSE) is a customer-focused technical sales professional that provides pre-sales consulting, technical guidance, and hands-on assistance to customers and Nutanix channel partners. The SSE teams and collaborates with Nutanix sales teams to recommend and design effective and appropriate customer solutions based on Nutanix offerings. Responsibilities: -Articulate the features and benefits of Nutanix solutions and products. -Understand the customer’s business drivers and how to map these to a Nutanix solution. -Provide technical leadership in the Requirements Discovery, Solution Development, and Solution Proposal stages of the opportunity sales cycle. -Perform product demonstrations and presentations in support of company road show’s and events. -Manage, monitor, and/or perform solution evaluations and Proofs-of-Concept in support of sales opportunities directly -Perform technical account management and act as an interface between the sales/pre-sales account teams and technical staff by monitoring and managing technical issues to conclusion, including any required management escalations required to resolve technical issues.
Cloud Specialist role, sales, pre-sales driving IT and digital business transformation through Dell EMC Hybrid Cloud Platforms. Focuses on the Microsoft Azure Platform, both Azure Stack and Azure, the Dell EMC engineered platforms(Microsoft solution ,VMware solution ) and underlying converged/hyper-converged infrastructure. The Cloud Platforms Specialist achieves an expert status in key accounts to assess and create solution demand, partnering with customer business and technical leads as a key member of the Dell EMC account teams. Acting as a consultative technical advisor, they determine business problems, translate challenges into proposed solutions, and collaborate with other pre-sales teams to drive hybrid cloud platforms. Provides expertise in several areas including converged/hyper-converged infrastructure, software defined datacenter, cloud operating models, automation, cloud native applications, and DevOps. The role has 3 primary duties: 1) Pre-Sales – Orchestrate and lead holistic infrastructure optimization and transformation solutions for large, early adopter, and strategic Dell customers; work closely with Dell account teams on targeted business opportunities for consulting-led solutions; lead workshops to explore customer needs and specify desired outcomes, conduct assessments, develop business cases, recommend products/services, set expectations based on real world experience, develop proposals, overcome objections, forge relationships with customer executives and technical staff to ease transition from pre-sales to post-sales and ensure continual customer satisfaction. 2) Post-Sales Service Delivery Oversight - Oversee teams on large infrastructure optimization and transformation projects for early adopter and strategic Dell customers; clarify and confirm detailed requirements, lead process and solution design, provide over-sight at key management milestones throughout implementation, conduct quality assurance reviews, share knowledge and experience with the project delivery team, assist in the resolution of management escalations. 3) Thought Leadership & Evangelism - Serve as a recognized subject matter expert and thought leader with deep expertise in converged enterprise infrastructure (servers, storage, networking, service management) for virtualized/cloud solutions; leverage customer engagements to capture best practices and develop intellectual property, evangelize data center transformation methodology/approach throughout Dell, train Dell sales and service delivery teams, participate in industry forums as a speaker, publish white papers, write blogs, etc. Assist in identifying new and improved consulting methods, approaches, tools, templates and delivery guides.
