Greetings, my name is Phillips Lee. I am a young adult who is driven by the advancement and utilization of technology. Most of my work comprises of creating new gaming computers and modernizing old computers. I have self-taught basic computer hardware skills and am currently pursuing certification programs to further my understanding and growth in this field. I was contacted by a client to identify why his computer failed to boot (start). I found that the issue was his motherboard’s bios failing to register the storage device and the solution was to format the current storage device or to buy a secondary storage device.
After building a fully functional gaming computer, the client contacted me to find and solve the issues about the lights and strange noises. The solution I found was to observe and replug each individual cables to ensure it was functioning properly and reseating the case fans.
Shortly after completing another build (workstation), I was contacted about the sluggishness and crashing when working with multiple applications. The solution was found by using a performance tracker and it showed that the amount of memory was not able to handle the workload, therefore I replaced it with a higher volume memory stick (ram).
The client contacted me about a computer hardware malfunction and was requested to observe and solve the problem. And to do so, I had to individually test each of the computer components to resolve the issue.
