About

Between October 2017 and January 2025, I have been the Chairman and CEO of Moët Hennessy, the Wine & Spirits Division of LVMH and the global leader in Luxury Wines and Spirits. Together with a great leadership team, we have defined and implemented an ambitious long term growth strategy, associated to a new set of Mission/Vision/Values, and delivered high single digit compounded growth of the business over the last 5 years. The Covid-related dive in the business in 2020 was quickly overcome and future growth was supported by important acquisitions in the world of wines and spirits, as well as new partnerships with celebrities and industry players and, last but definitely not least, a persistent and strengthening strategy of value creation through heigthened brand desirability accross our 26 brands or « Maisons ». I am leaving in 2025 the LVMH Group after almost 22 years. I started in 2003, running first Europe and then the global distribution network of Louis Vuitton. In this time we laid major milestones for the Louis Vuitton network throughout the world. I revamped/relocated/developed most of the stores, grew significantly the business and developed new disciplines like Retail Performance Management while launching new categories like jewelery. In 2011 I moved to HongKong to take the leadership of DFS Group, the multi-billion travel retail distribution arm of LVMH. Over the following 6 years, we moved from an essentially discount driven to a brand driven business, and opened new locations in Asia and Europe. Then I moved to Moët Hennessy. I also was a member of the Executive Committee of LVMH between 2012 and 2025.  Prior to LVMH, after a first experience at a subsidiary of JP Morgan, I worked essentially in Germany, first for the Boston Consulting Group, and then for the porcelain manufacturer Villeroy & Boch, where I became Member of the Vorstand and Head of the Tableware Division.   Today, as I am phasing out of LVMH and my executive career, I am taking a major break, travelling, making sports and preparing myself for a non-executive career as of 2026.
