I am a partner at AMBOS LAWYERS, a leading law firm in Belgium that provides specialized legal services in shipping, transport, and commercial law. With 15 years of experience as a qualified Belgian lawyer, I have developed a strong expertise and reputation in the shipping industry, where I advise and represent both national and international clients on various legal matters and disputes. My main area of practice is shipping law, where I handle complex and high-profile cases involving cargo claims, ship casualties, ship arrests, ship auctions, compliance, and maritime due diligence. I also teach and lecture on international maritime law to seafarers, professionals, and students, sharing my knowledge and passion for the maritime world. As a board member and secretary of YoungShip Belgium, I actively contribute to the promotion and development of young professionals in the Belgian Maritime Cluster.
YoungShip Belgium is a non-profit organization founded by and made-up for maritime professionals aged less than 35 years. Our goal is to provide a platform for competence and network development and promote young professionals in the Belgian Maritime Cluster.
