Philippe Renaudeau YD is a French engineering office of naval architecture and design, oriented to exceptional projects. Associating form and function, never forgetting what constitutes the basis of naval architecture : marine qualities, linking performance and comfort, both at sea and at anchorage. The volumes and shapes do not sacrifice the "ever larger, bigger", but are intended to be respectful of a just match between the expectations of the customers and the real functionalities.PhR worked with major designers like ELIE SAAB, KENZO TAKADA, THIERRY MUGLER and BORELLA ART DESIGN to create luxury yachts « Made in France ». PhR YD & NA concentrate on unique projects, emphasising the essence of design without forgetting the importance of naval architecture: respecting both comfort and style at sea and at anchor and the actual needs of customers. For several years, his work has directed him towards more environmentally friendly materials, and customers are now systematically seeking electric or hybrid propulsion, with a lower environmental impact. This irreversible evolution as much as personal convictions led Philippe Renaudeau to reflect on his job and to consider the notion of performance differently. All the current projects are now designed to be part of sustainable development. They have produced several prestigious brands of international renown, while remaining faithful to their commitments : to sail better and respect the planet.
