After ten years in operational positions in a large IT department (PSA-Peugeot-Citroën), since the very beginning of the 2000s, I have held 4 successive positions as CIO : 2 as CIO of foreign subsidiaries (North America and Asia) in industry (Valeo) then 2 as a Group CIO, in the Services sector (Neopost) and then in Distribution (Pomona, where I am today). While about fifteen years ago, my role as CIO was mainly focused on back office (ERP, PLM, Infrastructure), I saw the customer dimension and front office taking an increasingly important part, firstly through tools for sales and marketing teams (CRM), then, with the advent of digital technology, through the opening up of the information system to the outside world (APIs) and the integration of solutions for the company's customers, and even its customers' customers (B2B2C). In order to succeed in leading the legacy projects, for which quality and continuity of service are essentials, and the digital projects, for which agility is key, I had to transform the organization, working methods and in a certain way the "culture" of the teams placed under my responsibility at Neopost and then at Pomona.
