Paris, Île-de-France, France
In the 1990s, when it seemed everyone wanted to become a trader, I opted instead for the world of investment funds. Sciences Po Paris at that time a tight-knit community of knowledgeable teachers and students, opened my mind. I was intrigued by mergers and acquisitions, with their value creation, strategic vision and spirit of openness. The idea of taking an existing asset and adding to its value going forward appealed to me. Before trying to build something, I needed to earn my stripes. Plotting a course through the financial industry requires broad shoulders and an agile mind. I learned the fundamentals during my 20 years at Natixis, especially the concept of return on capital. At the start of the 2000s, I created two subsidiaries (Asset Square and Axeltis) just as the bottom was falling out of the markets. And yet these companies worked. I learned adversity. From 2007 to 2012, I headed up Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management. My mission was to restructure this French asset management company at a time when the markets were going through a major financial crisis. Mission accomplished, as the firm’s international profile was strengthened, earnings rebounded and we recruited additional staff. I had the full confidence of my superiors. Asset management provided me with an overall vision of human and economic activity. I like the idea of a career that plays out like a jazz score: structured improvisation inspired by a long-term vision, intuition and entrepreneurial spirit. After my years at Rothschild, it was time to tap into my entrepreneurial DNA. I created a consulting firm, which allowed me to buy time while letting my future company concept germinate. The consulting firm’s clients were large financial institutions, which eventually became the founding shareholders of iM Global Partner. In 2013, I launched a series of road shows to win over future shareholders and investment company partners. By 2015, iMGP was up and running. We offer customized investment solutions and long-term performance. We are building a global network of asset managers, exceptional Partners to whom we can offer large-scale distribution capabilities, thereby creating a new and efficient means of transmitting asset management know-how. We are one of the only European companies in our sector to have such a strong presence in the United States. In 2025, our ambition to grow remains intact. With a rapidly growing brand that appeals to financial institutions and the leading distribution platforms, iMGP is looking to reach USD 100 billion in assets by 2030. Stay tuned.

I chaired the Executive Board of Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management from 2007 to 2012. During my tenure as the head of the Edmond de Rothschild Group's asset management subsidiary, I contributed to its development and influence. I successfully led the in-depth restructuring program that I had proposed, covering the entire functional scope of the company. The company became global with the opening of offices around the world and the creation of an international sales network. The results have been extremely promising and the workforce has grown.

J’ai ensuite été Directeur Général Adjoint de Natixis Asset Management en charge du développement commercial.
