Former Special Advisor in the Electrical Department of the Technical, Engineering and Quality Directorate of the European Space Agency (ESA). My domains of interests focus now on high performance on-board data processors, very high speed networks and adaptive systems. This extends to EEE COTS (Commercial Of the Shelf Electrical Components) and their usage in space segment electronics. As a Special Advisor I have the opportunity to support as well innovative projects with in-orbit extensions or with a "New Space" dimension. This comes with the joy of interacting with younger engineers who in turn will shape the future of space exploration. Particular attention is devoted as well to New Member States. Received an Engineering degree in Physics and Electronics in 1983 and then a PhD in Signal and Image Processing from the Louis Pasteur University of Strasbourg.
