With over 20 years of experience in international development, economic growth, and sustainability, I am a Senior Director Health, Safety and Sustainability in the mining industry. My mission is to implement the vision, policies, and corporate tools for health, safety, and sustainability with the aim of implementing programs that have lasting positive impacts on the communities and environment in which operations are located, in order to improve the present and future of local populations while preserving the company's social license to operate As a competent and responsible leader, I manage multidisciplinary teams that oversees the environmental, social, and governance aspects of a project, including authorizations and permits, resettlement action plan, community development and engagement, biodiversity conservation, medical emergency crisis, malaria vector control, local content, and reporting. I also have extensive experience in mine closure planning and execution, having successfully developed and negotiated the first mine closure plan approved by the National Closure Commission in Mali. I am passionate about leveraging potential positive impacts for the communities and the environment.
