o Support the Swiss affiliate in the reimbursement process of a new pharmaceutical product and lead pricing negotiations with the BAG (Federal Office of Health) o Support the launch of a pharmaceutical product as a member of the Global Market Access and EU+ Commercial Launch Team o Develop a Launch Readiness Tracking System to anticipate internal workload and to ensure smooth cross-functional and cross-regional collaboration o Participate in the development of the Global Pricing Strategy of a launch product and develop its Pricing Targets for each EU+ affiliate o Validate Budget Impact and Cost-Effectiveness Models before reimbursement submission o Create a Gross to Net Pricing Database for Biogen and competitor prices and a process to ensure its maintenance o Develop SharePoint Platform for sharing EU+ Market Access and Pricing information o Support the affiliates in (re)negotiations of (innovative) contracts and ensure its profitability o Many activities described in the previous role
o Short term rotation to the Global P&R Strategy Group based at the company’s headquarter in Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA (8 weeks between Mar 2014 and Jul 2014) o Support group with pricing and revenue analyses to support decisions related to launch and in-line products and prepare Business Cases for the Management o Develop and maintain quantitative scenario and valuation models to support strategic price recommendations (e.g. Launch Sequencing Model) o Liaise with Global P&R Strategy Group, Finance and Forecasting to develop price-driven forecasts and scenario models o Monitor changes in P&R systems and competitor products and forecast the impact to the business (e.g. project lead to assess the impact of the first generic entrant in Europe in the field of multiple sclerosis) o Maintain and leverage Price Approval Process in collaboration with the Affiliates, Distributor Business, Finance and Logistics (60% project work) o Lead and participate in various Market Access and Pricing and Commercial Projects (e.g. development of a new Customer Relationship Management tool) o Many activities described in the previous role
