I am not a keep-the-machine-ticking-over executive. I am at my best at the front end of growth: spotting the opportunity, shaping the offer, building conviction with clients, partners and investors, and then bringing the leadership, rhythm and discipline required to deliver. My experience spans wealth and investment management, venture building, impact investing, technology-enabled platforms, philanthropy and founder-led growth businesses. ReVive Impact Partners was established as a venture builder to create and scale businesses at the intersection of finance, technology, and sustainability. * Paragon Impact – Co-founded and scaled an innovative impact measurement platform; successfully acquired by Alexander Forbes. * Sense-IT / ParentSense / PlaySense – Early childhood, EdTech, and HealthTech platforms; acted as behind-the-scenes co-founder supporting growth to VC-backed stage. * InfinitX – Funding to support the development of an unlisted equity exchange platform to increase liquidity and access for private companies. * Grindstone Accelerator (Jersey) – Co-launched entrepreneur acceleration programme in partnership with GrindstoneX, building the island’s innovation ecosystem.
• Spearheaded the development of the Wealth and Investment division for (U)HNW's and family offices at Standard Bank Group. • Innovated new products and services, including the MY360 client app, philanthropic service, and a crowdfunding platform. • Key member of the Executive Committee that led the division to win multiple Global and Africa awards for Private Banking and Wealth Management.
Development the advisory services for clients with an interest in philanthropy and established the Citadel Philanthropy Foundation, the first ever donor advised fund in Africa. Published a research report on philanthropy in South Africa.
Wealth Advisor to (U)HNWIs in the areas of financial planning, investment management, Philanthropy and fiduciary services. Acknowledged as key part of team that established Citadel as a leading wealth management business in South Africa.
Responsible for the establishment of the up dealing capability for newly established fund managers, across equities, bonds, money market and derivatives. Fund manager for the Index Fund.
Part of the team that established a new equity and equity derivatives broking capability with the Peregrine Group. Responsible for institutional sales of equity derivatives structures.
