Leading a team of IT/OT Security Engineers at the Ware Manufacturing & Research Campus on Defence in Depth (DiD) strategy on thousands of IT and OT assets. Developing and deploying solutions for the Ware campus and then globally for the wide GSK network.
Design, Deployment and Maintenance of a segmented Operational Technology (OT) Network at the Ware site in Hertfordshire (approximately 1600 low level devices), independent from the IT Network and Infrastructure. For a project duration of just over 18 months I led a team of 4 on a £2m Network Segmentation and Tech refresh to separate the IT and OT Networks. I designed the architecture, managed the deployment of 60+ Cisco 9300 client access switches with 9410 Core Switches, conversion from site from CheckPoint to Palo Alto Next Generation Firewalls with IDS/IPS. I have also been deploying Vulnerability and Asset Discovery as part of a “Business As Usual” strategy (e.g. StealthWatch & Tenable.io/ot). The company is in the early stages of designing the migration of on-premises servers to Microsoft Azure. I have been involved with specifying the requirements and looking at the challenges of splitting the Active Directory domains into Corporate and Operational Technology in Azure and migration of our on-premises Nutanix HCI infrastructure. I work closely with a central security consultancy team and colleagues at “sister” sites in Europe and the USA. Responsibilities include performing anti-malware scans, patch & policy deployment and testing all dedicated to the OT network. I have carried out NIST cyber security audits run by KPMG and put in place OT focused Business Continuity Planning (BCP/BIA) and Disaster Recovery (DR). I have run cyber-attack simulations, phishing emails and tested the capability of our disaster recovery plans with resources in the engineering teams.

Experiance in specifying and maintaining instrumentation such as Pressure, Level, Temperature, Corrosion, Flow for high reliablility and critical process and safety monitoring and control. Working with various suppliers with control system design, upgrade and modification for Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and Emergency Shutdown Systems (ESD).
