Experienced Project Manager / Construction Manager with a demonstrated history of working in the construction industry especially in Roads & Infra. Strong program and project management professional skilled in Construction, Management, EPC, Subcontracting, and Civil Engineering.
• Responsible for site supervision of Road works which include Micro tunneling, Surface water, Foul Sewer, TSE, Irrigation, Potable water network, Telecommunication networks, Street Lighting, LV/MV cable laying, Traffic Signal networks and all related shut downs. • Coordinate with various government offices, interfacing contractors, consultants and public to facilitate progress and avoid delays. • Report to the Project Manager / Resident Engineer and assist Planning Manager in Progress log reporting & updating. • Review/Approval of shop drawings, design proposals, method statements, ITP’s. • Reply to RFI’s in coordination with Design Department. • Direct, assist and monitor site inspectors & surveyors. • Ensure quality & safety goals are achieved in the project and oversee its implementation in the project. • Assist Project Manager and Client to issue site instructions and variations. • Ensure correctness and completeness of ‘as-built’ drawings comparing with approved shop drawings / IFC and actual work done in site. • Take Lead role in Handing over works
• Site Mobilization & enabling lay down areas / crusher. • Manage & Support Micro tunneling & dewatering works. • Working in Permit to Work systems, Coordination for Kahramaa approvals, coordination with Ashghal / O&M. • Construction of Foul Sewer & Storm Water network including house connections and gullies. • Responsible for Potable water and TSE Network. • Responsible for kahramaa works for electrical LV, MV, HV cables • Responsible for Ooredoo trenches, ducts & Chambers. • Responsible and ensure resource allocation, staff management, setting benchmarks, close look to the budget, time management, daily-weekly-monthly tasks. • Ensuring that work is executed in accordance with the contract drawings, specifications, agreed procedures and method statements. • Implementation of Traffic Diversions.
Coordinate for internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects Ensure that projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility Prepare & Develop tracker sheets to monitor and track progress Managing Variations and reflect those works in Extension of Time (EOT) and Cost impact submissions. Report and escalate to management for any additional resources required. Attend the progress meetings with client, consultant and stakeholders Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation Delegate project tasks based on site staff members' individual strengths, skill sets and experience levels
• Effectively lead and manage project from Design to Handing over with quality, cost, safety and time frames by ensuring accurate preparation and implementation of all relevant tasks carried out in accordance with Client & Company requirements / legislations / regulations. • Developing the base line program with the supports from Planner / consultant. • Arrange & Manage Subcontractors . • Ensure submissions of monthly valuations to client / consultant and do necessary follow-up for payment.
