My passion is researching and communicating the message of the Old Testament is cross-cultural contexts with an aim to building up the global Christian Church. I have served as scholar and teacher in English, German, and Arab(-Israeli) contexts, communicating at both scholarly and more popular levels. I also continue to engage in scholarly research, right now with a focus on the Psalms and the theology of places in the Holy Land.
