Exploring the intersection between crypto and 3D experiences (yes, the metaverse...) by adding web3 capabilities to the Hiberworld platform and taking advantage of Hiber's cool tech to create completely new products. I'm a builder at heart but also spend a lot of time advising the company on strategic issues, meeting partners and sharing knowledge about crypto tech and culture within the company. Originally my job was to design and implement a system for tracking batteries using blockchain technology (IPFS/Ethereum). After finishing a prototype I decided to stay on to help build the infrastructure needed to receive, store and analyse large amounts of battery data and deliver insights through well-designed APIs and UIs. I worked across the whole stack, from data collection/aggregation on embedded devices to stream processing in the cloud, as architect and developer. Frame is an OS-level interface for interacting with the Ethereum blockchain. It is an open source project supported by Aragon, one of the most prominent projects in the Ethereum space. I helped bring ENS (Ethereum Name Service) integration, native Ethereum/IPFS clients, decentralized automatic updates and many other interesting features to the project. Bzzt is an EV taxi startup with a constantly growing fleet of electric tuk-tuks deployed in multiple cities. I designed and implemented our fleet management and booking systems, primarily in Elixir/Erlang, working closely with our frontend developers, UX designers and data scientists. I was also responsible for deployments/operations and integrating with other platforms, partners and customers, putting my API design skills to good use.
