Sorry, invitation not sent to Philip. Please try again.
Philip received his BSc (Engineering Physics) in 2007 and MSc (Nanoscale Science and Technology) in 2010, both from Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden. In between these two physics degrees, he studied International Business at California State University, East Bay, USA with a major in Marketing. In 2010, Philip started as a PhD candidate in Per Delsing's group in the Quantum Device Physics laboratory, at the institute of Microtechnology and Nanoscience, MC2, at Chalmers University of Technology. Throughout his PhD, his research interest concerned superconducting quantum circuits and in particular to develop the hardware for quantum processors. In 2012, Philip founded Krantz NanoArt, a business with the idea of visualizing great scientific research using advanced 3D graphics tools, thus make it accessible to a broader audience. In 2015, he started as a Postdoctoral Associate at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), working in the Engineering Quantum Systems (EQuS) group lead by Prof. Will Oliver, Prof. Terry Orlando, and Dr. Simon Gustavsson. At MIT, the research is about developing technologies needed to one day realize a large scale quantum computer.
