Project Description: • Landfill Gas to Energy 33.3 MW Power Plant which included four T60 Solar CAT Combustion Turbine-Generators, four Rentech Heat Recovery Steam Generators, Dresser-Rand Steam Turbine with Hyundai Generator, Vilter Gas Blower for gas collection, Vilter two stage Screw Gas Compressors, Cameron Gas Treatment H2S Removal, Venture Siloxane removal & high voltage electrical distribution equipment. Also included three pre-engineered steel buildings varying in size from 4,000 square feet to 10,000 square feet along with rehabbing an existing building into an operation & control room.

Project Description: • Variable Frequency Transformer Facility capable of transforming 300 MW of electrical power from 230,000 volt substation in Linden, NJ to 345,000 volt power in New York City. This power is then transmitted to an existing underground cable. This projects scope included major excavation, backfill with structural aggregate, pile installation and construction of a three-story structure to house the Variable Frequency Drives and auxiliary equipment along with an overhead 100 ton gantry crane on the roof of the housing.

Project Description: • Provide Design Assist Services to aid the design professionals for relocation of existing underground piping systems critical to operation of the infrastructure of the City of Bethlehem. In addition, JJS performed all Soil Erosion & Sediment Control, Earthwork and Rough Grading for the entire 126 acre site which was the former Bethlehem Steel plant located in downtown Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. JJS also performed Utility Relocations of critical domestic water, sanitary and storm water services bisecting the site which served the surrounding community and supervision of the Test Grouting and Dynamic Compaction programs necessary to commence the foundation installation.
