I build enterprise recruiting strategies to help companies compete in the talent marketplace. I enjoy solving talent acquisition challenges and pushing companies to think differently about attracting, hiring, and retaining people. I’ve helped build and launch veterans’ initiatives (at Starbucks and Apple) that connect transitioning military talent to corporate roles and opportunities. I’ve created sourcing strategies for dozens of businesses verticals, built just-in-time hiring initiatives for seasonal roles, driven tens of thousands of on-site hires a day through e-mail / text campaigns. I’ve built diversity and disability hiring strategies at 7 different companies. Recruiting is about changing someone’s life for the better and it never gets old.

The Sourcing 7 (also known as S7+) is a professional special interest community that is focused on talent sourcing and recruiters who source. Comprised of talent sourcers, recruiters, and other talent acquisition professionals who want to share best practices, exchange techniques, and enhance the talent sourcing profession, the Sourcing 7 community was born from the grassroots effort of talent sourcers who wanted to pay it forward for this profession. We hope to accomplish this by fostering opportunities to network, influence, and educate.

At BKR Strategy we manage recruiting, talent acquisition strategy and brand optimization for companies. We hire and deploy recruiters to help companies grow fast and hit headcount milestones. Current clients include Sightline Payments, valued over $1B, MediaCom, Hearts & Science, PHD Media and MediaStorm which represent 1,000+ roles to be filed in Q1. Major League Baseball (MLB) has been a client for over 3 years. I manage and oversee the following: • Built and managed a recruiting team for Sightline Payments. Grew FTE headcount from 35 to 175 • Implemented, configured, and deployed Workable ATS • Created an Employee Referral Program to drive referrals towards 25% • Established EVP, online brand presence and business line personas, deployed messaging maps to guide advertising and created an internal & external comms strategy Supported the MediaCom engagement: • Hired teams of recruiters to oversee hiring for MediaCom’s clients: Coke, Google, UPMC, Adidas, Sony PlayStation, Walgreens and Uber -- 750+ roles • Re-implemented / optimized Jobvite across MediaCom user base • Onboarded recruiting teams, provisioned with sourcing tools, trained, and onboarded to MediaCom’s systems • Collect and provide talent marketplace data and analysis of compensation and talent availability • Manage external vendor relationships with Recruiter.com and Media Bistro • Improved and expanded active and passive sourcing channels
