I’m fascinated by what people are capable of when they’re properly supported. For most of my life, performance has been a constant theme. I have always pushed myself in endurance challenges, leading through to elite long-distance triathlon, representing Great Britain at European and World AG Championships. In the business field I have built two 7 figure businesses so understand the successes/failures and the challenges that come from building a business. What I’ve learned along the way is simple: high performance without humanity doesn’t last. My work now sits at the intersection of elite mindset and compassionate leadership. I’m a founder of Is This You?, where I work with leaders, founders, and teams who want to perform at a high level without losing themselves in the process. We focus on emotional capital, leadership maturity, and building organisations where people are treated as the greatest asset, not the biggest cost. Before this chapter, I trained as a tax specialist and built my commercial foundations at Ernst & Young. I’ve since served as a Managing Director and worked across sectors including sport, construction, health & wellbeing, digital, facilities management, financial services, and telecommunications — including collaborations with organisations such as The FA. More recently: I was nominated for the North East Business Titans: Top 50 Leaders Shaping the Future (SME Powerhouse category) 2025/26. I designed and built a coaching programme recognised by the Chartered Management Institute. I’ve begun an MBA in Strategic Leadership, because I believe credibility comes from continual learning, not titles. My coaching style comes from an authentic, transformational style of leadership. It is calm, challenging, and deeply human. I care about standards, but I care more about people. I’m interested in what happens behind the performance, the thinking, emotions, habits, and culture that quietly determine outcomes. Transitioning into entrepreneurship, I established myself as a seasoned managing director, with notable collaborations with entities like The FA and INTU Group underscoring his ability to navigate diverse sectors.
