Recruited to develop software solutions for a startup company involved with childcare center back office operations. Key Achievements: • Designed and developed forensics grade fingerprint verification system for attendance tracking of day care and Head Start center attendees and employees. An industry first at the time. • Developed database driven management system to store detailed information on daycare center employees, clients and their children. • Led development and testing of a web based tool that automated calculations of food production quantities for child care centers and Head Starts participating in the Federal Food Program.
Recruited to maintain and extend life cycle of existing proprietary utility billing software application. Key Achievements: • Designed and developed custom utility billing and database system including stored formula invoicing, A/R management, and cash application functionality. • Designed and developed full featured reporting system for custom billing software, which included: aging reports, account history reports, transaction detail, and usage trend analysis as well as the ability for employees to run "on the fly" reports during customer support calls. • Designed, built and replaced entire server/client infrastructure. • Replaced entire network installation and installed and configured hardware based network security solution. • Developed and implemented an enterprise wide automated backup and disaster recovery solution. • Provided application and hardware support to end users possessing a broad range of computer skills.
