In 1981, Phil Kramer was selected to be a cast member of the movie Taps enabling him to meet and photograph some of Hollywood's most talented people. Award winning cinematographer, Owen Roizman, A.S.C., showed an unusual interest in Phils candids taken during the many months of filming. Remarking that Phil had "a nice eye" and his photographs showed "great composition," Owen urged him to seriously consider pursuing photography as a profession. Soon after the movie was completed, Phil enrolled in the prestigious Antonelli Institute of Art and Photography. At the age of 24, Phil opened up Phil Kramer Photographers, Inc., now one of the most prominent photography studios in the country. Phil's images have appeared in numerous magazines such as Time, Life, Elle, Philadelphia Magazine, Town & Country, Modern Bride, Wedding Pages, My Weddings and Philadelphia Weddings as well as many fine art publications. Phil's strong work ethic, integrity, and impressive creativity have made him one of America's most sought after photographers.
