Experienced manager with a strong expertise in pharmaceutical and chemical projects. Skills include project management, customer relationship, implementation of organization, technical resources development and management . I led several large/complex capital projects in the field of Engineering (EPC/EPCM/EPCMV). Strengths: • Large management experience : project management, engineering management, payroll staff and subcontractors management. • Personal leadership: ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams to reach end objectives. • Development and monitoring of accurate project management KPI’s. • CAPEX and cost control: cost estimating, value engineering, capital spending for efficient business, prioritisation. • Strong negotiation skills : ability to manage by convincing & conducting meetings. • Drive change. Areas of Expertise: • Pharmaceutical : vaccines, R&D (with lab animals), QC labs and clean rooms (BL1 to BL3 level), • Biotech: agricultural biotechnology, medical and health sector. • Chemical: salts and metallic oxides , fertilizers, Seveso industries, waste recycling.
• Overall responsibility for the project delivery activities in pharmaceutical and biotechnology fields operating from Bruxelles. • Project direction including follow-up, negotiations and reporting. • Lead and coaching of project managers and transversal engineering teams (up to 40 people): payroll recruiting and subcontractor management. • Quality management: personal engagement, staff coaching, client satisfaction inquiry.
• Plan and manage medium to major (up to 300M€) pharmaceutical projects from Feasibility to Handover. • Coordination of multi-disciplinary teams. • Assure all defined project objectives during EPCMV phases: cost, schedule, quality and safety . • Organize the technical expertise to deliver best service to customer. • Procurement: tendering, bidding, technical & commercial negotiations and contracting.
