As the (hands-on) Product Owner for the team, I have taken the lead in managing communications with stakeholders, playing a pivotal role in breaking down epics into actionable tasks during refinement sessions, as well as coordinating and driving sprint review and planning sessions to ensure effective and successful project delivery.
Since joining Dynatrace my focus has been on the session store module. Below are some of my key achievements and responsibilities: (2nd Gen: Java 11, Cassandra, ElasticSearch) - Led the efforts to refactor several legacy core components and fix critical bugs of the existing session store solution, improving its stability and reliability - Collaborated with cross-functional teams in order to integrate new functionality such as session-replay into the solution (3rd gen: Kafka, Kubernetes, Spring Boot, Microservices) - Designed and spearheaded the development of the next-generation session store services, as well as its deployment within the new platform - Conducted design review sessions with stakeholders and executed performance load tests to validate the proposed system architecture
WeAreBlueOrange was a company focused on the iGambling scene. Our mission was adding a layer of gamification on top of the more traditional online slot machine games, providing additional value to our users while enhancing their experience at the same time. To achieve this, we worked daily with technologies such as: - A wide range of the AWS ecosystem (EC2, Cloudformation, ECR, SQS, SNS, DynamoDB, S3, RDS); - Play Framework mainly using Java 8; - Jenkins for CI/CD automation pipelines, where I was the main contributor (github); - System Integrations (internal and with 3rd parties using mainly RESTful webservices and message brokers like RabbitMQ); - Microservices and distributed systems development, capable of handling millions of events daily; - Design, development and maintenance of Docker containerized applications and services, deployed in Kubernetes clusters on AWS (both test and production); - SQL and NoSQL databases; - Redis clusters, used for caching; - Testing frameworks (JUnit, Rest-assured, xUnit); - Functional programming languages (F#), used to develop lightweight and scalable microservices; - Event sourcing and Domain Driven Design methodologies.
- Developed the backend (Java) of a CMS (Content Management System) tool to dynamically update configurations/promotions and push them in real time to our Angular frontend; - Designed the backend cloud infrastructure, mainly using Amazon Web Services, to be more scalable and better support the company goals
Being part of a great multidisciplinary team, developing a personal submarine's software and automation control and an online configurer tool for a floating house (FloatWing). A list of the tasks I have done while working at Friday: - Online configurer for one of the company main products (Unity – C#) - Human-Machine Interface (HMI) development for PC (Winforms - C#); - Database development and integration with front-end (MySQL, PHP); - Automata and Real Time Control Systems programming (Twincat 3 - Structured Text); - Mounting, testing, calibrating and integrating multiple sensors and devices.
